The production of energy from wind sources is growing rapidly all over the world, both as regards generators larger than MW, and for small power machines for operation in parallel to the grid and on an island, with power starting from 60 kW. Thanks to its experience in the field of static energy conversion, EEI is able to offer a range of solutions for wind turbines from 60 kW to 3 MW, guaranteeing high efficiency, maximum reliability and constant attention to the quality of the energy fed into network.

EEI offers a wide range of tailor-made solutions for connection to the wind turbine network with power up to 3 MW. The three-level EEI inverters for wind applications are specially designed for systems with permanent magnet synchronous generators and asynchronous generators.

EEI has undertaken the development of solutions for the parallel connection of wind turbines from 60 to 300 kW with an asynchronous and synchronous permanent magnet generator. This configuration allows to eliminate the gearbox and to supply energy even when the frequency is variable.
The control logic was developed to actively manage abnormal operating conditions (lack of network; strong winds) regardless of the security system adopted (hinge upwards, pitch control, etc.).
